Bougie Building
Previously a rental duplex and autobody shop, the City of Sun Prairie purchased the two lots, completed demolition and issued a request for proposals for the half-an-acre parcel. After evaluating proposals, the City entered into a Purchase & Development Agreement for the construction of a three-story mixed use building, with the ground floor being anchored by the formerly displaced Glass Nickel, who lost their original Downtown location in a 2018 natual gas explosion. The second and third floors are occupied with 9 rental units.
